The development of banking system, financial intermediaries and securities companies have created vivid prospects for the Vietnamese economy. Recruiting high-caliber employees is essential to employers of the financial sector. The School of Banking, Finance and Accounting was established in 2005. After splitting the Accounting discipline, it was named School of Banking and Finance. The distinct mission of the school is providing high-quality human resources with sound knowledge of social economics and the major to meet the demand of employers in the field. Until now, there have been 1600 students enrolling in the school.
The course majoring in Finance provides students a deep knowledge in finance i.e. financial markets and corporate finance. Graduates will be capable of working at financial corporations and non-depository intermediaries.
The course majoring in Banking provides students with knowledge about commercial banks’ operations. Graduates will be capable of working at commercial banks and non-depository intermediaries
Besides, School of Banking and Finance focuses on training professional attitudes and ethics for students. The core values of social responsibilities, life-long learning and practical orientation are also embedded in the teaching.
